Work with the Lab

The work is different depending on where you are in the transition. The framework is the same.

Every engagement at Pavese Insights Lab is grounded in the same research-based model of how leadership identity transitions unfold — and designed around what that specific phase actually requires.

Clarity Session

A focused, high-signal session when something is urgent, tangled, or high-stakes. (60-90 minutes, 1:1)

Best for:

  • “I’m stuck and looping.”

  • “I need to prepare for a hard conversation.”

  • “Two paths—one decision.”

You’ll leave with:

  • a clean problem definition

  • your 1–3 best options

  • a next-step plan

Transition Track

For leaders in the middle of a transition they can feel but haven't yet named. (8-12 weeks, 1:1)

We work on:

  • direction + decision-making

  • identity recalibration (who you are now, not who you were)

  • confidence and narrative (without the cringe)

  • relationships and boundaries during change

  • a plan that matches your life design (not just your ambition)

Founder Signals

Founders don’t just build companies—they undergo identity compression. (1:1 or small group)

Focus areas:

  • founder identity shift (operator/leader/vision holder)

  • cofounder dynamics + repair conversations

  • decision fatigue, control vs trust patterns

  • emotional load + stamina

  • relationships under speed and uncertainty

  • "Liz brings a rare combination of deep, applied organizational psychology expertise, rigorous measurement chops, and sharp product intuition to our advisory board. Her ability to toggle between strategic direction and human nuance has been invaluable."

—Abi Noda, CEO & Founder, DX (now part of Atlassian)

  • "Liz was my coach during a significant transition in my career when I struggled with imposter syndrome. Through her coaching, I was able to feel more confident in my new manager role and left with a clearer vision on how I wanted to show up. "

    —Minni Kahlon, Organizational Effectiveness Manager

  • "When I faced difficult situations, you demonstrated remarkable emotional intelligence in recognising exactly when I needed encouragement to build confidence and when I needed to be pushed beyond my comfort zone. This allowed me to gain new perspectives that would have remained inaccessible had you only focused on validation."

    —Jyoti M., Principal ML Engineer

  • "For the past two years, Liz has been mentoring and coaching me. Her support, guidance, and advice over the time we’ve been working together has played a pivotal role in my professional development. As someone relatively early in my career, it has been invaluable having someone like Liz to share her insights and experience, to confidently steer me in the right direction, and consistently encourage me to step outside of my comfort zone."
